I cannot ungroup vector images

i downloaded a vector pack of example garments (clothing), for me to color them i need to ungroup them, when i select them i try Shift + ctrl+G which changes nothing, i tried going to object>ungroup, but the option is not available.any help is apreciated.

Looks like a pixel image. Can you check that in the Layers or Links panel?

There is a slight change that this needs to be embedded. You could try that as well.

is the artwork a link? if so can you open the original in illustrator and edit that artwork?
