Looks like you are in outline mode.
You have placed a lot of images and you do not have a lot of RAM?

My Macbook RAM is normal free ram normal is 2-3gb and ssd free more than 50gb its normal, Outline and GPU preview and preview on CPU got same trouble....anyone can help me?

What is in the file?
How large are the placed images? Looks like there are quite. a lot of them.
