Hi,

I clicked something when I was working with layers and this page appeared. I tried to undo but it didn't work.

Any help is appreciated.

Go to the Layers pallet and click in the left column so that an eye symbol shows by each layer. (You currently have both layers hidden.)

It's not a complicated matter.

Just hide the grid (View > Hide Grid), then go to the Layers palette and show their content by clicking on the first columns in the row items "Layer 2" and Layer 1" (an open eye will appear).

There are other ways to show all, but that should work anyway.

I can see on the document tab that you're in the Outline view and undoing doesn't reset that. If that's what you mean, then you can go to View > GPU Preview or toggle between the two with Ctrl + Y (Command + Y on a Mac).

It appears like you are viewing the grid. In your properties panel, click on the center icon to hide the grid and you should be back to your normal view. Or go to the View menu and select "hide grid".

I tried all the methods but I still can't see my work, just that little rectangle in the middle wich I don't know where it came from.

The little rectangle is your artboard. Try View > Fit Artboard in Window to zoom in on your work.

Can you provide this sample .ai file, so one may have a look?

In case you cannot, provide at least a screenshot that shows the expanded Layers palette (as it sounds as if you are missing all objects in that document).
