IL 26.3.1 pasting images no longer embed color profile

Yesterday i had no issues, but today when I paste and image over the color looks fine, i hit save now the image shows yellow where transparent or some white/blues was. I looked online and saw it was an issue before and deleted the color setteing and reset them. It used to automatically embed the color profile of the image i was pasting over, but now it doesent. I even checked the box to ask when pasting, but it doest ask or work. 

My work around is to save my image to a library where it asks to save profile and then I can copy it over. What is wierd is that it doesnt affect any of my old images only the ones i entered today.  Any thoughts or solutions?
