Illustrator 2025 keeps freezing

I just subscribed and downloaded Illustrator 2025. When I try to open a new file the app freezes. I found a thread that suggests some steps to resolving the problem, but it is still freezing.

did you install illustrator using the cc desktop app?

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind checking if you have any pending OS updates and installing them to see if it helps?

Also, try performing a clean reinstallation of the GPU drivers (Intel / NVIDIA / AMD) and setting the Graphics Preference to High-Performance for Illustrator (https://adobe.ly/4grtG3O) and checking if it helps?
