Illustrator 28.1 and drop shadows?

I updated to the latest version of Illustrator (28.0 to 28.1) and it seems that it completely disrupted the way drop shadows work...

On my artboards, the shadows are almost not visible, but when I want to export the visual, the shadow is 

present again.

Is anyone else experiencing the same problem? I put some screenshots to make it clearer...

Can you share a sample Illustrator file with an object to which you've applied a live drop shadow effect?

This is the same file in 28.1 (left) and 27.9 (right). There's a definite difference. I'll see what I can find out.
