Hello, I accidentlly updated my OS to Monterey. Monterey seems to have a bunch of issues itself, but my biggest issue now is that Illustrator is very laggy. I've tried everything I've seen and nothing seems to help. both 2021 and 2022 are very slow. I'm using a wacom 24 pro. I have 128 GB ram. Truly, I cannot figure out what is wrong and it is slowing my business down. Anyone else run into this issue and have found a solution?

Thanks in advance.

What model Mac & ram do you have, can we see a screenshot of your about this Mac? Update your wacom driver & restart your computer. If problem still exists your OOBE may have become corrupted during update.

OOBE RESET MAC

  • Quit the Creative Cloud desktop app  (100% you must do this)
  • /Users/<user folder>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
  • The \Users\<user folder>\Library\ is hidden by default for macOS 10.7 and above. See Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 and later for instructions to access it.
  • Delete all the files within the OOBE folder, but do not delete the folder itself.
  • Restart the computer and launch the Creative Cloud desktop app again.
