Illustrator autocorrect brush and eraser

So I started using Illustrator for the first time, I am not used to the brushtool and erasertool. The lines get corrected and I want to be able to set it off. I don't know if it possible and I can't find anything online about it.

Double click the tools and then you find a precision slider. Way to the left it will do no correction. Way to the right, it will  do maximal smoothing.
