When I save an SVG "Save file > SVG" a shifted path comes out at the end. See pictures.
Did I set something wrong? I want to use the SVG for the web.
I had reduced all surfaces to one layer, so there must be something wrong with the setting.
in Illustrator: --> ok
result: (save as SVG) --> not ok

1) Are these strokes or filled paths (areas) ?
2) What is your value for the coordinate precision?
3) Does it make any difference if you use "Export as SVG" or "Export for Screens as SVG" instead of just "Save As"?

Thank you for your answer
1.) paths. For web you have to convert it in paths, otherwise, there will be some display errors - I have to convert the SVGs in to inline SVG. So the SVG has to be flattened and very clean.
2.) I'm not sure what this means. the SVG is 24px x 24px
3.) Up to now I had always saved all SVGs with "Save as", because these problems always occurred with the export.
Now the export suddenly worked much better. The problems do not occur. The SVG is also a bit tidier as inline SVG.
I will keep this in mind.
Thank you very much, the questions had brought me to a solution! 🙂

Sounds like maybe you're having the same issue I am: https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator/illustrator-2020-save-as-svg-default-decimal-places/td-p/...
If you go to File -> Save As, and select svg format, the "SVG Options" dialog will appear after you've clicked the save button. On the SVG Options window, you should have a "More Options" button on the bottom corner. Once you've clicked it, under the "Advanced Options" section, you'll see Decimal Places. By default, it should be set to 2, unless you've previously done this and chosen a different value. Personally, I've found 5 decimal places to be adequate, though if you were creating a .svg file for the web or some other situation where a few bytes of data was enough to worry you, I would argue that is where Save for Web comes in.
The problem I had was that, every time I launched Illustrator, it would default to 1 decimal when saving svg files (even when saving existing files that had way more precision). After reinstalling, it looks like it might be working properly again.
To reinstall, use Creative Cloud to uninstall the app (when prompted, choose to keep user settings), followed by installing it again. So far, I haven't been able to reproduce the original behavior, though I've just been testing with dummy files so I'm still not sure. But, the way your path was corrupted looks exactly like the decimal precision issue I ran into a couple weeks ago.
