My daughter is in her final year at Uni and has had a MacBook throiughout with Creative Cloud installed.

She uses Illustrator all the time; but it's started continually giving the attached error message:

The application language in your Creative Cloud is set to "en_GB", but Illustrator cannot find the corresponding language resources for it. Reinstall Illustrator to resolve this issue.

We have tried removing and reinstalling Illustrator a number of times (including the latest updates), but the error message continually appears in Illustraor - all other apps are fine.  Any ideas?

Did you use the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool after uninstalling?

Do not just remove the app, it needs to be uninstalled using the uninstaller.

If there are custom brushes libraries or other custom elements your daughter has created and saved, then make sure to secure those before you start the uninstall process and the Cleaner tool.

Thnak you very much for your help Monika.

I remoted on via the Google Chrome Remote Desktop https://remotedesktop.google.com/

I went through the instructions above (just cleaned the apps that were crashing, rather than the whole Creative Cloud installation) and my daughter has phoned to say she's been working at Uni all day and it hasn't crashed at all 🙂
