Illustrator cc 2022 freezing while working

Dear team, Please fix the issue as soon as possible. I have finished my brochure work, finally, I saved it and it is stuck. Now, what can I do? My system configuration is very high. It is 16GB RAM and I am using 2TB external hard drives. Why it is happening please check it asap.

16 GB of RAM is not that much. It's the minimum recommended amount.

Where did you save the file? To that internal disk? To a synchronized folder? The folder path is just normal ASCII or something special?

All fonts are OK? Do you use font management?

All placed images are on that harddisk?

Yes, I am using an external hard drive. All fonts are ok. My all images are on the hard disk itself.

Does it work better when you are using only the internal disk?
