Illustrator crash on M1 Mac monterey

Not only I was angry for that crash, but I lost all my work because autosave is not working properly. There was no files where they were supposed to be. Thanks Adobe.

If you are referring to the File Recovery function: it is not Autosave.

And then don't ever rely on a computer automatically saving your files. A power outage can ruin your plans anytime. It will some day fail when you least need it.

Always save your files. Save early, save often, save different versions.

 

To solve the crashing: Which version is it? Which system? Does that happen regularly? What were you doing when it crashed?
