Illustrator Crashing when applying design to graph columns

Illustrator keeps crashing everytime I try to apply a design I created onto a graph column.

Any idea why?

Please tell us your version and system info and also how much RAM is installed.

Then please show us your graph design. Are you sure it's set up correctly?
