Illustrator dulls colours when applying effect

hi hello, does anyone know the reason as to why my colours turn dull when I apply the rotate effects on illustrator? (as seen below) I have tried it on different documents with different colour settings but none seem to work. (btw this is constructed in illustrator not imported from anywhere)

I'm not able to replicate the issue. You could try resetting preferences. (Preferences > General > click Reset Preferences)

You'll probably have to adjust the lighting so it shines from the right.
