illustrator is not clickable after update

Illustrator doesn't work.

I can open Illustrator, but when I open (create a new file) Illustrator  open  or create a new file  but become not clickable. What can I do ?

Hi there,

 

Sorry to hear about this trouble. This is has been reported by a few other users as well, and it was found due to the conflict with Trend Micro Antivirus.

Do you have this Anti-Virus installed on your machine? If yes, please make sure that Illustrator is added as an exception in the app settings. I hope it helps!

Check your anti-virus software as an option.

I have had this issue since installing 4 days ago. I spent 3.5 hours with chat support with no solution yesterday. I noticed another member suggest that he discovered he uses Trend Micro for his anti-virus program and he added Illustrator as a safe program and it works. I noted that I also have that, added the program folder as safe and - BOOM - it works....
