Illustrator just crashes and freezes on launch (Windows 10)

please help me.. i launch the program and 10 seconds later just freezes.. i cant do my job without it.

can anyone help me please? using simple steps (sorry really not massively computer smart)

Most likely the usual issues with network access, graphics drivers or permission issues on temp folders. Graphics drivers can easily be updated by checking your display settings, the rest would require lonegr explanations, many of which you can already find in a generic web search. in any case, if you're not that savvy it may be time to call in your neighborhood computer nerd. Given the broad and generic nature of such issues there is just no way to explain this in three simple steps, especially with no clue as to what could actually be the specific cause.
