The ctrl+shift+S command does not work in Illustrator. Also, when Illustrator opens, the landing page does not appear. Try it now. The landing page, which shows the suggestions and the last opened pages at the bottom of it, does not appear.

In fact, when I open the Illustrator program, there is a menu on the left side of the first screen that appears as follows.

New File
Hungry

Entrance
learn

Folders
Your files
Shared with you
Deleted

Finally, CTRL+SHIFT+S Command does not work. CTRL+N shortcut command does not work. So a lot of things have changed. I didn't make any updates. I didn't change any settings. I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it, still didn't work. Now I will completely uninstall Creative Cloud and reinstall it, but I don't think it will happen. If there is any setting for this please help.

Hello,

First of all, I would like to thank all Adobe users who responded.

I solved this problem. I explain the solution below.

First, I uninstalled all programs along with preferences. Then I uninstalled Creativ Cloud.

Then I installed CC again via Adobe.com. Then I installed the programs. The problem was fixed this way.

@Ebubekir Akbaş you need to go into your Illustrator Preferences to turn it back on 'Show The Home Screen When No Documents Are Open' . See the preferences.mp4 to show you what I mean

It would be better to quit Illustrator and then delete your Illustrator preferences.

The next time you start Illustrator, everything will be back to normal.

If you delete and reinstall Illustrator or Creative Cloud, your old preferences will still be there and whatever went wrong will still be the same.

Uninstalling does not reset preferences.

Hi @Ebubekir Akbaş

We apologize for the inconvenience this issue has caused. As Monika rightly suggested, we've received similar reports from other users, and our team is actively investigating. To help us resolve this problem, we need a memory dump from your machine. Please follow the steps outlined below.

Steps to collect Memory Dump on Windows :
  1. Open Task Manager
  2. Right click on Adobe Illustrator task process
  3. Click on Create Dump file
  4. once dump created, there will be a .dmp file created in temp folder(Location will be visible on dialog once dump is wholly written)
  5. share that file with us.

Please refer to this for mac
  • By default, macOS disables core dumps for most applications. To enable core dumps, you’ll need to execute the following command in Terminal:
  • sudo launchctl limit core unlimited
  • After the crash, macOS typically generates a crash report which can be found in the following directory:
  • ~/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports
  • Also, during crash, a pop-up dialog appears. Click Report... to save the report to system reports.
  • You can use the following steps to locate the system reports in your system:
  • Click the launch pad and search for Console.
  • In Console, click System Reports on the left pane.
  • Search for Crash report having the filename with a prefix as Adobe Crash Reporter_YYYY-MM-DD where YYYY-MM-DD is the date on which the file is saved.
  • Right-click on the report file and click Reveal in Finder to get the logs which can be shared.

As workaround, you may install version 27.7 from Creative Cloud Desktop.

Hope this helps!

Regards,

Srishti
