Illustrator language and tool disappear

Hi: 

  When I arrived Shanghai, China. The adobe illustrator language changed to Chinese and before it's English. And now some tools disappeared today. And some tool is under the shadow, cannot use, like " straight line tool", what can do for these problem ?

Thanks for reaching out.

I'd recommend you to reset the preferences of Illustrator. You may follow the steps below:

• Close all Adobe applications. 
• Go to Location C:\Users\user\AppData\Roaming\Adobe 
• Rename  Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Illustrator 24(version number) Settings folders to Adobe Illustrator.old and Adobe Illustrator 24(version number) Settings.old 
• Launch Illustrator from the Creative Cloud. 

Please note that resetting preferences will remove all the custom settings and Illustrator will launch with default settings. This way all your old settings will be saved in .old folders and Illustrator will recreate new folders with default settings.

Hi :

In the computer I do not see any files under the roaming. And may I ask, can I download and login in the AI again in another computer under the same account . Just wanna make sure the App is linked with account or the computer ?

Yes, you certainly can install Adobe Creative Cloud apps on other computer.

I'd also request you to take a look on help article: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/illustrator/using/setting-preferences.html#setting_illustrator_preference... to get help in resetting preferences.

Hi,

Since the toolbar is currently "Basic", switch to "Adbanced".
The screenshot below is for Japanese. "Basic" is "基本", "Adbanced" is "詳細"

Please let us know if you want to change the language of Illustartor.
