Illustrator Layers pallete optimization - names issue

Dear All. Maybe its a common issue but I couldn't find any thread about this issue but I believe it's major problem of the Ai interface for years. I tell about names' cropping in the Layers pallete with a huge empty gap used for nothing while there is enough space to fit the name. I remember this kind of problems were in other language interfaces (like Russian) butenglish version was always optimized perfectly fitting names much better.

Is there any reason to have so huge gap? And if not can it be fixed?

I made this visualization to show how it's now and how it should be (like it was in old versions of Ai CS)

Thanks Monika! For some reason this link doesn't work for me (Moscow. Russia). Uservoice.com is available and leads to a page of some fedback software. But no navigation to Adobe products.

No luck. I can se the link works using the ipscan websited. But it's not working for me even through different provider nor vpn.

I don't know what that website needs to be active on your computer, so I'm, sorry I can't help you with accessing it.

The developers use Uservoice for discussion of bugs. I could post it there for you (including your image and referring to this thread) if you wish so.

I will try to get the access, dear. But if i fail i would be kindly ask you repost it there. because I believe it will be major interface improvement especially for those who for some reasons ude not that big resolutions.
