WHY DOES ILLUSTRATOR CRASH ON MY IPAD PRO (4th generation)? I can't do anything without it crashing when I try to pull up a file. I'm so sick of this. I love Illustrator and need to get some work done, but if this will not stop happening then I will be forced to find another way to do my work.

Might I add that it does it when I try to create new and load an already created file. I have done everything from deleting app and reinstalling it, checked my storage which is fine, tried on WiFi and off of WiFi, checked for app updates which is none. I'm at a loss.

Hello @firelife,

We understand how frustrating it can be to experience crashes in Illustrator, especially in the middle of work. Would you mind updating the OS to the latest version and checking if it helps?

If the issue persists, kindly share the crash report so that we can investigate this further:

  • Open iPad Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Analytics Data. You will see file names like “Illustrator-2023-01-03-083327.ips” (2023-01-03 is the date in the log & 083327 is the time). Ensure you share the recent log file after the crash by looking at the timestamp.
  • Upload the file to Dropbox/Google Drive/etc. and share a link to the file here or via DM.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav
