Illustrator Pen Getting Stuck & Clicking On Its Own

Hello,

I am trying to determine if this is a problem with my MacBook or Illustrator. I don't have this problem with Photoshop, just Illustrator. when I am trying to use the pen to create a path it will get stuck and then click in the wrong spots and drag. It doesn't matter if I use a mouse or mouse pad on my computer. Does anyone know the cause/solution to this? Help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi try to reset your preferences or which version you are using if its latest then may be bug try 2020 version and see...regards
