Illustrator / Photoshop not recognising font weights

opened two seperate files and its still not recognising the font weight, instead leaves font name completely blank


uninstalled full adobe suite including settings

updated mac OS

reinstalled adobe suite

reinstalled all offending fonts

also tried TTF and OTF versions of the fonts


Issue still occurring despite all this troubleshooting.

If you "also" tried TTF and OTF, then what kind of font is that one? There's not a lot of font formats left.

 

Illustrator doesn't support T1 anymore.

Same problem here. I've already installed the font several times and it didn't work. It worked before. The font in this case is Golos, the ExtraBold and Black weights no longer work. Only in Photoshop, in Illustrator they work.

So it doesn't work in Photoshop? Then I would suggest you ask in the Photoshop forum.
