Illustrator - Printer cuts off bottom of artwork

I have this issue multiple times. I try to print the artwork but it has this imaginary white border below my artwork and just cuts off everything else. I've tried rotating but the white border follows the rotation. Also tried restarting the programme but it doesn't work.

The document is listed as 1500 x 350 mm; the media is 420 x 297 mm. With Do Not Scale turned on, it's never going to fit. What are you trying to achieve?

I understand it will not fit. I think it's easier to see in this screenshot as the image has been cut off by an invisible border.Screen Shot 2020-01-28 at 3.44.09 PM.png

Why is the Y value of the Placement set to -569.74 mm?

Did you check your Print Tiling tool (Hidden under the Hand tool)?

Exactly what does not work? What is it that you want to achieve? Tile this? Why don't you scale it?

I have circled the part that has been blocked out in red. As you can see, my gradient gets cut off at the blue area.

Usually, even when it is on "Do Not Scale", it would print the whole copy like this below.

This is an old thread, but I've had the same issue for years. The only workaround I've found is to create a new document and paste what you're trying to print in there. I feel like the problem stems from Auto-rotate - which defaults to "on" for reasons I can't explain.

FYI to everyone except OP: Sometimes people want to print something larger than their printer media allows at it's actual scale knowing that some of it will be cut off but intending to use as much of the paper as they can - which this error does not allow. Hope this helps!
