Illustrator printing 2 blank pages

New Here ,
Jun 03, 2025 Jun 03, 2025

Can not print anything from Illustrator, it just spits out 2 blank pages. Recently moved from a laptop running Windows 10 to a desktop running Windows 11. Didn't encounter this problem on Windows 10 and was able to print directly from illustrator. I can print if I save toPDF and then print but this adds extra steps to printing, especially if I'm just printing a test to look at layout.

Running Adobe 29.5.1

Running windows 11 Pro version 23H2 (can't update or I lose access to the company shared storage something with the NAS and SMB and 24H2 not getting along)

Hello @david_0182,

Could you try removing and then re-adding the network printer to see if it helps with your workflow? Also, try to reset Illustrator's preferences as described in this article (https://adobe.ly/3ZgwSZU) and sharing your observations.

Disclaimer: Please note that renaming preferences folders will remove all the custom settings, and Illustrator will launch with default settings. You can also save a backup of the folders in case you want to. The location is mentioned above.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

What kind of printer are you using? Is it connected directly to the computer or does it receive print jobs across a network? Do other applications on the Win11 desktop PC output jobs successfully to the printer? I wonder if it could be a print driver setup issue.
