Illustrator: Save artboards to separate CMYK PDFs

It's fine it I want to saved artboards to separate RGB PDFs because I can just use the 'export for screens' features.

But it converts everything to RGB even when my .ai file is all set to CMYK.

If I use the regular Export panel, there is no option for saving as separate PDFs

Is there an easy way around this?

Did you create a PDF export preset and it still exports in RGB?

Thank you! I clicked the cog (as per your answer on my other Q) and then changed it to 'high quality print'... this appeared to fix it
