Illustrator saved as psd not importing with layers

Hi,
Anyone having issue with saving a layered ai file as psd and importing into photoshop with layers?
Currently the psd imported does not import with layers even though write layers and maximum editability is selected.

For some things the layers cannot be preserved, such as most of the blend modes.

Did you try Copy and paste?

  • The operating system you’re using.
  • The versions of Illustrator and Photoshop installed.

Also, is the issue specific to this particular file? If so, could you share the file with us for further investigation?
