Hi there,

I would really appreciate people's help I am very stuck.

I need a script which I can automate from Actions>"Insert menu item..." which will select all the Black Objects in my file (attached).

I would save this in the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator 2023\Presets\en_US\Scripts folder.

Please help!

Thank you!

ps I tried to attach an Illustrator file and got this message:

Correct the highlighted errors and try again.

  • The attachment's metaballs_v001.0400_edit.ai content type (application/postscript) does not match its file extension and has been removed.

Do you need to select only objects with black fill RGB=0,0,0 or also objects with black strokes? And what version of Illustrator?

And don't forget objects with a CMYK black or a 4 color mix.
