Illustrator Sign In Issue

I have a teachers Macbook (M1) running Big Sur (11.6.2) and I installed CC and Illustrator on it under an Admin account.  This is a school issued computer and we have an Adobe account as a whole district.

After I sign in as the teacher on their computer, I open Illustrator to sign in using their Google information.  I get a message "Error, There was an error with this action. Try again later." and that is the only message.

This teacher does have a CC account but I am not sure what the issue is.  The teacher can't use Ai if they can't sign in successfully.

Hi @Philip270089128r4r,

Thanks for reaching out. This generally happens when the app is unable to reach Adobe Servers. It could be due to network policy, firewall, or internet setting, which is blocking the app from connecting with Adobe servers.

Would you mind trying the steps suggested in this help article (https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html)?

If it doesn't help, I would suggest connecting with our technical support (https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/support-and-expert-services.html). The team here would be able to perform remote troubleshooting and assist you accordingly.

Note: If you have an individual license account, then contact our technical support here: (https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen)

Please feel free to reach out if you need any further assistance.

Thanks,

Anshul Saini
