Hi All. I am on a MacBook Pro using the latest Illustrator 2022.
I have a few diagrams I am moving from InDesign into Illustrator. (The diagrams are not linked to the InDesign file so I want to make them all eps files and link them. Currently they are all housed in one InDesign doc and copied over to another InDesign doc.)
I really like the stroke/arrowhead design for #24 shown below from the Stroke pallet. I have several of these that I need to use in my diagram. The circle area is NOT transparent and it has to be. Is there a way to modify the stroke somehow to make it transparent?
The only thing I can think of is to expand all of them and adjust. For example the first one here is the stroke as is, the second it is expanded with me removing the color off the circle and the last is how I want it to appear - (I had to move the line in a bit as you can see.)
Thank you!
Did you try to set the opacity of the stroke to darken or multiply in the Appearance panel?

Well that was easy! Thank you! Both worked perfectly. I must be sleeping at the wheel here - wish I thought of that 😉
