In the latest versions of Illustrator the SVG export function is inaccurate and adding artefacts to most paths. This is most evident in outlined fonts.
This is a major issue because we can’t currently use the 'Save as SVG' feature to generate SVG files.
However, copying the artwork and pasting it into an application like Figma works fine.

Did you try to set the number of decimals to some higher number like 6 in the export dialog?

Thank you for your prompt response. Your suggested solution works!
However, there is still a bug: Illustrator isn’t saving the changed number of decimals that have been changed. If I quit Illustrator, the value resets to the value of 1—which isn’t an ideal default setting, by the way.

Using Export as... in the latest 2025 as well as the new 2026 version, it stays at the number last used for me.

Thank you for taking a closer look at this. However, the number of decimals will also reset in the 'Export as...' dialogue after restarting Illustrator on my machine. I am using Illustrator 30.0 on macOS 15.7 (24G222).
