Hi, would anyone know why the gradients I have in Illustrator show up as transparent when I open the file in Corel Draw? Is there a specific way I need to be setting up my file?

Thanks!

Try and save as an AI CC file (Illustrator doesn't make a distinction between the CC versions).

Which version of AI did you save? CorelDRAW opens CC2019

What kind of gradient is it?

Hi! I saved it as illustrator 2020. Will it only open with 2019?

The gradients are a 2 and 3 color linear gradients.

2 methods,

1) from Illustrator, while saving - save as Japanese Illustrator option, this will help in opening directly on any Corel versions. but complex gradients and mask may have different results. but best for Flat colours...

2) Save as PDF - Select PREPRESS Option - open in coreldraw...

hope this helps

Japanese is only available for version 3 files, which could ruin some elements in the file.

If there is more than just paths in the file, I would go for anything below 2020. Up to CC2019 can be opened directly in CorelDRAW.
