Illustrator v29 smooth tool

how to make Illustrator v29 smooth tool function like old version because it smooths all the path and shapes too much automatically

 

it is crucial tool for my workflow


I used to be able to swipe the pencil along part of a path and it fixes exact path part with reasonable strength, the update made it realy realy bad

in attached photo, one click with lowest strenghth and the shape is ruined by over smoothing it
