Does anybody know how to preview illustrator thumbnails without opening illustrator. I am looking for something like Faststone image viewer. I have a few illustrator file and want to see all the files together without opening each one individually

That's simply not possible, especially in more recent versions where so much new stuff has been added. anyone attempting to create such a functionality would essentially have to re-create AI entirely and that is out of the question for apparent reason. You have to go through the Adobe tools, meaning AI itself and Bridge of course.
