Recently I've been getting the error message that the additional module IllutoqueueS4 has an error. Illustrator then starts normally.
I have already repaired and reinstalled C++. The iColor plugin is not installed.
I can't find Safe Mode. I have already deleted the profile settings.
Windows 11 operating system has current updates.
Illustrator version is 28.6. The problem also exists with version 28.5. I haven't gone any deeper yet.
I know how frustrating it is when you've already tried several steps, and the issue persists. I checked with the product team, and they suggested uninstalling Illustrator completely. After that, manually remove the Illustrator folder, restart your computer, and then reinstall the app.
I hope this helps resolve the problem. If you need any further assistance, I'm here to support you.

Hi
I wrote that this plugin is not installed!
With Illustrator version 27.9.5. the error does not occur.

I understand your concern, @christina_0687. Karina has mentioned the location in her reply. Could you please check that location or try searching manually? If you find any files or folders related to iColor or Illutoqueue, try deleting them. This might resolve the issue.
Let me know if this helps or if you need further assistance.
Best,

Hi Anshul
Nothing exists in the path. A search for “iColor” or “ICLRPRO2” was also unsuccessful.

Illutoqueue is not found either

Thanks for checking. Since nothing related to iColor or Illutoqueue was found, we might need to explore other solutions. Given that the issue doesn't occur in Illustrator version 27.9.5, it could be related to corrupt preferences. Would you mind backing up your current preferences? Resetting them, and then try launching the app with fresh preferences to see if that helps.
I’ll continue looking for alternative solutions. If anything else comes up, please let me know.
Best regards,
Anshul Saini

As I wrote above, the profile has already been deleted (described in https://helpx.adobe.com/de/illustrator/kb/plugin-missing-issue.html). The problem still exists.
