Hi everybody!

I want to import illustrator brushes in animate - therefore I need to import illustrator brushes into the cc library. but I didn't manage to get the brushes from illustrator in the creative cloud library. I tried drag and drop, than the + at the bottom, but there is only the possibility to add the brush-color, but not the brush itself - maybe there is another way?

thanks a lot!

You cannot use Illustrator brushes in Animate.

You could try and import just the base shapes and then create new brushes from them in Animate.

Generally the trick is to apply brushes to artwork and then drag the artwork into the CC library. But that will not help you getting the brushes over to another app.

I'm not working with Animate brushes, but maybe the tutorial was referring to brushes made with Capture?
