I have been using Adobe illustrator on my MacBook, but my MacBook recently broke and I am using my IPad 10th generation as my main devise. Ever since, Adobe illustrator keeps crashing once I open my file in illustrator. Adobe illustrator and my iPad are both updated to the newest version, and I have room in my storage. Are there any solution?

Are you using the Apple Pencil? Does it make any difference, when you don't?

Does it help when you disconnect the keyboard?
there is another thread in which that helped. It's not a permanent solution of course.

Disconnecting the keyboard does stop Illustrator from crashing, which it does when you mouse over the tool bar... Let's get this fixed, Adobe...

Anything in the system concerning the Apple keyboard?
Turning off the Pencil effects stops issues with the Pencil.
So maybe there is something similar about the keyboard.

It appears to be more than any specific input device, and related to ANY input device other than the touch display becausee both the keyboard trackpad and the pencil crash illustrator. I'll check later with a mouse connected and the keyboard disconnected to verify that.

So any input device other than touch crashes illustrator when you hover over the toolbar. Looks like Adobe has cooked their own input code and it's not working anymore unless you are using touch, independent of whether the keyboard is connected or not.
