Issue with dull colors in Illustrator

I've been having an issue with dull colors in illustrator. I've checked that the document is in RGB, made sure color management is turned on, and nothings working. There's still a slight difference in color when importing a screenshot. Any thoughts?

What is your color management turned on to? There's more than one setting, just "Turning it on" doesn't mean it's set up for your output.

Are you printing, saving to pdf?

Screenshot will normally be in the screen profile (P3 is quite common these days). Illustrator has some ICC profile set in the colour settings, most common is to have RGB set to sRGB or AdobeRGB. Displaying a P3 or Wide gamut RGB file with no colour management the working profile is used.
