When I print my file directly from Adobe Illustrator, the print comes out fine. However, when I save the file as a PDF using the "PDF/X-3:2002" settings and try to print it from Adobe Acrobat, some areas of the illustration print with white blocks over them. There are no hidden layers in the file, so I'm unsure why this is happening.
I need to send the PDF to a client, but I don’t want the random white blocks to appear. Has anyone encountered this issue or have a solution?
Hello @Gavin24249667h1nm,
Thanks for sharing the details. Would you mind trying a different application to print the exported PDF to see if it makes a difference? Also, try using the PDF/X-4:2010 setting to export and share your observations.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
