Illustrator user here since Illustrator 88. I have seen years of flinty performance, and many more years of outstanding performance and enhancements. I do admit that every once in awhile you make, what seems to me to be, an unnecessary "improvements" that don't feel logical; but for the most part you all have continued to build a great program. In the late ninties and early twenties there was always the rumor that Illustrator was becoming irrelevant, and would be gone soon. I never believed it!'
As an art director and creative director I always made sure my teams were "Illustrator educated". Thank you all for the years you put into this product. The cost of the Creative Suite rises with some frequency and despite my age an work habits, I suspect the suite will be running the most updated version when I leave this life... I'm a hopeless fan and thank you for all the thinking and innovation you have brought to this product.
My adminition to my staff: "Illustrator is a bit like Latin; but once you understand the basic structures of its language, you will appreciate its sophistication – you will be able to brag to your InDesign and Photoshop friends, how truly intelligent and creative you are!"
