I have some kind of lag on Illustrator when I try to zoom in or zoom out. Even, though I tried to reinstall the program, and doesn't work.

Hello @abolivar,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind trying the suggestions shared in this help article (https://helpx.adobe.com/illustrator/kb/optimize-illustrator-performance.html) and checking if they help? If the problem persists, kindly share more details, like the exact version of the OS/Illustrator, system config (CPU/GPU/Memory), and a screen recording of the problem (https://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator-discussions/screen-record-an-issue-on-windows-amp-macos-f...), so we can investigate this further.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

Hello @mpeters-kiers,

Thank you for reaching out about the lag issue in Illustrator. We're currently investigating similar concerns reported by another user. In case you missed it, we've suggested trying the solutions outlined in this help article (https://adobe.ly/3wyx7DS).

To provide more personalized assistance, could you please share additional details, such as whether Illustrator behaves this way with only some files, and if yes, share a sample file here? Additionally, a screen recording of the issue would be immensely helpful for our investigation. You can follow this guide on how to create a screen recording: (https://adobe.ly/3SKHyfg).

Your cooperation is invaluable, and we are committed to resolving this matter promptly.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

I can't do a constrained (shift for 45º) scale, reflect or rotate, the spcreen glitches like crazy.
This is starting to affect my work here.

I've been experiencing the same issue. It only seems to occur when zooming in and out, and becomes unbearably slow and glitchy. If I turn on Overprint Preview, it removes the problem and I can scroll in and out as normal. This seems contrary to the advice in the attached link. I've followed all other advice in that link and nothing helps.

Thanks

Elyse
