I cannot create multiple layers and sublayers, and view them on the computer.  I also need to consolidate the layers and sublayers

and form a composite into one layer.

Hi @Sarah Frisch,

Sorry for the delayed response. You can create, manage, and consolidate layers and sublayers in Adobe Illustrator to organize your artwork effectively.

  • Click on the "New Layer" button at the bottom of the Layers panel. This will create a new top-level layer.

  • To create sublayers within a layer, select the layer where you want to create a sublayer and click the "New Layer" button at the bottom of the Layers panel.

You can rename layers/ objects/ groups and create groups of objects. Drag objects/ paths under the layer/ group you want.

You can also composite many into one layer.

By organizing your artwork into layers, sublayers & groups, you can manage complex projects more efficiently and easily control the visibility and editing of specific elements.

Let us know if you need further assistance or have more questions. We'd be happy to help.

Best,

Anshul Saini
