Layers not visible when opening .aic files

New Here ,
Apr 06, 2024 Apr 06, 2024

It seems that sometimes, after opening an .aic file, no layers are visible. However, I can normally click on them and edit whatever I like, only problem is I can't see them. This only happens on files saved on creative cloud.
Thanks in advance!

Can you select something in the Layers panel and use Cmd + or Ctrl + to zoom to that selection on the artboard?

It normally zooms to the layer but it's still not visible.

Are these cloud documents .aic?

Are the visible here: https://assets.adobe.com/cloud-documents ?

Can you download them to your machine?

Can you check an older version from the version history that behaves normal?

Yes, they are .aic
I have normally downloaded the file, but still nothing visible after opening it from my pc instead of cloud.
One important note, when opening the file on browser, it normally shows everything. If I press the button "Open in Illustrator", the same problem occurs. Below, I have attached one photo of the illustrator and one from the browser viewer.
Apparently, I can't find how to open an older version of the file. Obviously, other files open and show up normally.
Again, thanks for the support.

If you select it in the browser and choose Open you would see a clock symbol on the right.

Clicking it will give you a time;ine with versions.

If you can open it from the cloud in Illustrator you will have a version history in the file menu.

Yeah, by checking the older versions, there are ones that look normally. I suppose that I should revert to one of them??

Apparently, after deleting a layer that I copy-pasted to the file, everything is back visible. Thanks for the help anyways.
