Basics-
We make traffic signs. 1 file may have 80 street name signs on it. Name/ Suffix and Block number for each.
Question-
Is there a way to have two sets of text be linked so you can type it once and both sets will change?
In the attached picture the Suffix and block number for each sign are just slightly moved because of the arrow position. So we are forced to make two sets of layouts for printing. The text though is identical in type and size just the position is different.
Can I link both sets so I can just change one and the other one will follow?
****The Find and Replace option is good but there are 80 signs on a file and some may have the same suffix and block number.
Howard Way 2900 and Custard Way 2900.
Find and Replace would change both of these and that is not what I'm looking for.
You could use the transform effect or symbols, but the MultiEdit script might be more like what you need.

Seems like MultiEdit might be the best option. Still don't think it's faster in the long run though. Seems like a beneficial tool though. I'll have to see how else I can use it.
