Forgive me, Im new to illustrator.

Ive made something I hope to use as a logo. It seems good enough for my purposes when looking at it in Illustrator but once I upload it online (specifically as a facebook bussiness page profile pic, this is all Ive tried using it for.) it has a distortion you can see below.

Does anyone know why this happening and any tips?
Cheers

That distortion is JPG compression artifacts. Have you tried using PNG instead?

Oh I found PNG through 'Export as' and tyeah that definitely cleaned it up about 80%, thanks so much.

Although now scaling my image down in Illustrator to fit in the Facebook profile pic window doesnt seem to take affect. Do you know a way around this?

Can anyone help me, please?

I have converted to PNG and that has cleaned it up quite a bit but I'm not able to resize for the Facebook profile pic.
It just always appears as the original size once uploaded.

Cheers
Kerry

Facebook compresses images after upload. There's not a lot you can do about that.
