Hi, I'm a student pf graphic design and I needed some help from an expert, It'll be so helpful. So, I have to design a 3D Can right, and I want to add the logo and all the design to it, but, I've search tutorials in the adobe page but only seems to work in Mac Illustrator, adding the design to the 3D object. I have windows and when i want to add the graphic, it opens the file finder. I want to add the graphic directly from the open doc to the 3D object. How can I actually do it? I hope to be clear, thank you guys!

Maybe the tutorial has flaws.

You might want to read the documentation.

The artwork you want to map, needs to be in your file.

You also need to make a symbol out of it. Then you can map it to the 3D object.

Hi, thank you for the reply, this is the tutorial https://helpx.adobe.com/es/illustrator/using/map-artwork.html, but like I said, it pops the file explorer not like the way it shows, and I tried to do it in illustrator 2021 which doesnt have the new features of 2022 version, and in 2021 it allows me put my graphic because of the simbols, but it doesn't allow me to put in the symbol in 2021 version, the nice background as the tutorial shown in the link, the green one.
