Hi

I need to place a PSD file into an illustrator template given by client and add transparency mask on each layer so that each layer can be recolored by the client , how do I do it? I place the PSD on the template and another greyscale of the same Design on top of the original and create mask and invert , but I canā€™t recolor using colors for swatches , Help please

Can you perhaps give us a sketch?

For recoloring: You need a greyscale layer (must not be transparent), that can then be recolored by just applying a swatch.

Doing the sme with opacity masks would require a colored object and then the mask.
