Metallic Swatches from Swatch Library not filling shapes

I made the update on illustrartor today. I'm now working on a project trying to fill in shapes I've created with the metallic swatches from the swatch library, and it will not fill.  It just stays empty. The standard swatches work, but the others the library ones don't appear to.

@SchuManji what version of Illustrator are you working on, OS and is there a screenshot in what you see?

I drew a shape with the pen tool, even have it open. Open the metals Swatches and added colour with ease. I am using Illustrator 28.6
