Missing a FONT I've been using forever ... HELP!

I've used Adobe Ai CC for months now... Sinhala MN is my go to font on a longstanding project of mine.  It is GONE!  I mean it doesn't even come up when I search for it in Adobe Font search bar....  can't find it anywhere any ideas???

please help.  I really need this font.

Did you upgrade your system? Or uninstall anything? Such as Murasu Anjal?

I didn't uninstall anything... but, I do upgrade with new version comes out.  I didn't update not to long ago.  would this make it go away?  I can't even find it in Adobe Font search now?

Sinhala MN is not an Adobe Font - it is an iOS10 font. If you recently upgraded your OS, you may have lost that font.

Sinhala MN is not an Adobe Font - it is an iOS10 font. If you recently upgraded your OS, you may have lost that font.

You could run a search for it and find similar fonts either through Adobe Fonts or another free site.

Is Sinhala MN font free for commercial and personal use?

Let us see what we can find out about the Sinhala MN font. MN looks like a code for font owner/creator.
I believe it is used by Muthu Nedumaran, for fonts licensed by Murasu Systems.
Here is their web site: http://murasu.com/ They do not sell licenses for their own fonts directly.
You can use the CONTACT link on their web site to ask them.

Apple has at one time licensed Sinhala MN, so it comes included (not "free") with macOS Sierra, High Sierra, Mojave, Catalina and Big Sur. These are only for use on the licensed macOS system, and may not be copied to other systems.

Warning: you will find most paid-for fonts free on the internet. These are not legal, but offered by thieves and pirates. Think carefully before deciding whether you prefer to support these criminals, or whether you prefer to support the original creative people whose work is stolen.

Are you on a mac. Enable it in fontbook. Mine is off as I like my computer to work fast

I still have the font, but am running Catalina, due to the tech issues with Big Sur.
