Mouse invisible over Artboard

I teach Illustrator to High Schoolers. For tutorials - I mirror my screen to a Clevertouch screen so students can see what I'm doing on the larger screen. When I do that, my laptop screen shows my mouse 100% of the time. But on the mirrored screen, the mouse appears in the Application bar, options panel, toolbar, and properties panel. But it disapears over the artboard! This makes my follow along tutorials a bit tricky for students to see what I'm doing! This is only happening in Illustrator. No issues in Photoshop. My IT guy and I have tried googling and finding a setting but having no luck figuring out how to correct this.

Are you on macOS or Windows?

You could try checking your mouse settings.

It sounds like an issue with Clevertouch, though. You might need to reach out to their support.

Windows. We tried updating illustrator but that didn't help. I feel like it's an illustrator issue because it's not an issue with any other program. But I will try all avenues.

Hello @Lisa259039622mxb,

Sorry to hear about your experience. Would you mind trying to change the Project setting to duplicate when mirroring your display (https://adobe.ly/48aRR2w) and checking if it helps?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav
