Hi, I just work on an Illustration with lots of patterns and texture brushes.
And I would print it by online print company.
Must I all patterns and texture brushes expand for print - to be safe? (A test print at home works good without expanding anything.)
Has anyone experiences about that?
Thanks a lot for Help! š

There are no brushes in a PDF. When saving the PDF this gets expanded automatically.

Hi Monika! Thanks for comment.
I see as well, that texture brushes are expanded in PDF. But Patterns are not.
Have you experiences about printing pattern swatches as well? š

Hey, Thank you for your advice! I asked today to the printer this issue. And the Answer was: I must expand them all. So I did it and feel safer now. Thank you! š

Always good to talk to the production folks. They what their equipment can handle and how.
